The Krause catalogues - the physical books - had prices for mint sets; the issue price (when known) and the then-current market value were both listed.
In my 20th century Krause, the issue price for the 1976 Unc set is not listed; the issue price for the 1975 8-coin Unc set is stated at $9, so logically the following year should have been about the same.
