Also, any idea what a 1976 $2 * 16 notes sheet is worth nowadays? Thanks!

Typical 16-subject $1 sheets sell for $50-$75. The serial number on your sheet will definitely add additional value, maybe as much as double.

The 1976 $2 16-subject sheet value will depend on which district it represents.

So I have a ? why are the serial #s so different on the same sheet?

I thought a sheet would go in sequence.

MC, The sheets are stacked in 100's or 1000's and cut into individual note packs....
So the sheet below this would have 99999967 and so forth.

The 32-subject sheets are cut in half lengthwise after receiving the first (back) and second (face) intaglio printings. The 16-subject sheets then receive the overprint with seals and serial numbers. The exception is when the BEP is preparing 32-subject sheets for the collector market. High serial numbered notes on sheets are valued more than the uncut sheets. Many of these sheets were carved up for one or two notes. Here's an example I owned before selling my collection.
