Interesting. Why doesn't the 2008 Krause list a price at all for this piece?
[While the 1996 one doesn't even list the coin itself]

Just found some info bout it from another collector. Its km# 323 worth around $650 in UNC.  Its one of the 2 coins I require to complete my Indian type set but now chances are slim.  Krause didn't know about its existence (only 500 minted) until some collector from India notified them. Edited by kidromeo

Wow. If I had seen that in a junk bin I wouldn't have looked twice at it before skipping to the next coin. Good info.

The national integration one is the regular circulation one, right?

This is the only rare Indian 2 Rupees AFAIK. Next rarest on the line is this one (I think):  Not Allowed - Auto-Removed /countries/img9/87-129.jpg) But its not that pricey...only 7-8 bucks in UNC. And yes 'national integration' was the regular circulation one. Two more series succeeded it. |

I wondered why I couldn't find anything on it in my Krause.  Thanks, kidromeo!  Add it to the list of unusually scarce coins that are under-rated by Krause. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

I would really appreciate if anyone can help me complete my 1950-2008 Indian circulation coinage type set by pointing me to a source from where I can purchase that coin. Its complete anyway but getting Land Vital Resource coin would certainly enhance it.
