Hey, this is my first post so....here it goes;
I just started collecting paper currency and don't know too much about it, but do know star notes are some-what valuable, and one of my relatives works at a bank and I asked her to look out for them along with some types of coins. I told her i'd pay her back face value for what ever she finds and in just one week she has found tons of every denomination, like at least 5 of each, but I can't afford that many 100's or 20's. Any advice on which is best?

In paper money, small bills are the best since it's hard to both keep and sell a high denom. note.

By the way, since she works at the bank, why don't you also ask her to look out for silver coins (pre '65) and odd numbers?

and oh yeah to the forums!

The condition of the banknote also is important.

Thanks for the replies, it's a huge relief because I was hoping you would say those things. And yeah, I asked her to look for all silver coins, and any Buffalo nickels, wheats, indian heads (worth a try right?), mercury's etc. And she said she already has a pretty big stash she would just give me for free, of those types of coins, so I'm definitely looking forward to that!
-thanks again!
