A little more reverse detail remains on this 1887 nickel, but it has still seen a ton of circulation over the years.

The older this thread gets, the better it gets, as far as variety goes. I love it when it gets back to the 1700s and 1600s and beyond. Here are a couple for 1887. 1887 - US - Dollar (Rainbow Toned, PCGS 63) An 1887 Sixpence, purchased in 1959 by its original owner for the sum of 50 cents, and now with some nice toning. An 1887 "Klippe"-style shooting medal, Frankfurt, Germany Nice city view reverse!
