Hi all,

Ive been trying to find out some information on some coins we have been handed down.Ive just added a post about another coin.

A friend of my wifes grandfathers was handed them decades ago and was told to hold on to them as they will be valuable. Were just trying to find out more about them and see if they are what they are.

The one is as pictured.

From what we have read.
We weighed the coin to 32 grams- On some kitchen scales.
Measured about 44mm. Need to use some calipers when I find some.
We tried a magnet and definanly not magnetic.
Placed some ice on the face and melts really quickly.

Any help is appreciated.

Based from the photo weakness of the Chinese characters strike and the denticles on both side, this is a genuine fake coin.

The coin is used in military payment.
