I see that the ANA renewed their relationship with the CCG companies BUT ANA membership no longer comes with a free NGC membership. Now you get a ONE TIME $15 discount to the NGC membership price. Here's a link to NGC ANA discount.

I'd like to see the ANA divest all links to any of the grading companies. The should not be choosing one over another in my opinion.

Guess now everything can go to ANACS .
They are grading better with quicker turnarounds
and don't nickel dime you with plus plus after charges .
No membership required.
ANACS has a golden opportunity at present with the
mess that both PCGS and NGC are going through.
As far as It goes for me my ANA membership is more
important than an NGC membership

Yes, I saw they changed it this month. Its not too bad as its just $10 for NGC membership for ANA members who get $15 off of
the $25 membership but its only for the first year. I also wonder if this will affect the ANA memberships in the second year plus as its one main reason some people who are not regularly involved with coins might join the ANA due to the discount vs just paying for NGC.

I have always liked Anacs but the resale values always seemed to have been lower than either NGC or PCGS graded coins in my experience so I've suggested NGC for those new to grading (unless you have inherited or have high dollar value coins), then move to PCGS over time as you grade more often and have higher dollar value coins. I guess you can start instead with ANACS if the $25 (or $10 with an ANA membership) is too much or you are dealing with minor varieties and errors, modern coins and the like more than valuable coins.
