I read that this particular year also had an issue with the die to where it's caused the penny to fade faster. I know it's old. And I'm new to this. My pic doesn't give it justice for sure. But sure looks like it's not from damage. Looks more to be from mint stage I believe. Well under microscope. I'll try to get better pics. Thank u Report this Post to the Staff

PMD Letters cannot be struck on an angle unless it is on the original die in which case all the coins struck would be the same. Report this Post to the Staff
