I Found A 1982 D Small Date Copper Penny

Note the differences in the size of the devices on Liberty. There is a lot off differences between the two devices on the small and large date cents. Dearborn Moderator United States 97062 Posts	Posted 08/06/2022 2:32 pm While the 2 got damaged and changed its shape a bit - it is a large date coin. You can tell this by the location of the date as well as the shape of the 2. Since the 2 is damaged, I'll go by the location. On a large date 1982 cent - the gap between the 2 and the rim is small, and on a small date 1982 cent, the gap is large. You can see that illustrated in Coop's image up above. Collecting since 1972.
