Hi everyone. My wife and I were scouring through our local flea market and stumpled onto this coin like I have never seen. I don;t even know if it is authentic. I am a new collector learning everything.
It appears to be an ancient Roman. I've moved this thread to the Ancients subforum.
I'd need to see the other side to confirm it's identity, and better pics might help in checking it's identity, but I believe it's this one, an antoninianus of British rebel emperor Postumus. Reverse type SERAPI COMITI AVG (Serapis, Companion of the Emperor) depicting the god Serapis standing.
That one sold for $135.

It is that same one Sap. I know my picture taking skills need polishing :). But the reverside looks exactly like the one you posted. Ok, I guess I will hang on to this one for a while until I learn more about coins.
