coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 08/10/2022 3:40 pm If you want to see the difference between a normal die and a DDR, check out this image: Look at the differences on this DDR from a normal reverse? Where does you eye spot the DDR? On the centers of the devices. Not on the outside edge of the devices or inside edges of the devices. That is where Machine Doubling and die wear happen towards the closest rims. So look at the centers of the devices and see if they are larger or normal, and forget looking on the outside edges of coins. on UNITED: STATES: OF: Now look back at your coin. Note the affected areas are on the outer/inner edges of the devices. The spread of the doubled die, makes the devices larger and the open areas of the devices smaller on those areas. Hope this helps.
