Exasperated! Need Help On Photos - Coin Community Forum

basicbob101 Pillar of the Community United States 819 Posts	Posted 02/18/2009 7:09 pm I am really at wit's end with my digital camera, its a Sony cybershot but does not have a macro feature. I managed to take a few shots of a coin I want to post that seem clear enough given the limits of the camera. Tried to upload them to my gallery (first time upload) message says upload successful, however there is a small square box in the upper left that I think is supposed to have the photo but all it has is a red "x". I resized the photos using Infranview to less the the pixel limits allowed, both width and length under 500 pixels each. I think that the density (?) of the photo may be to sharp which makes the size to large in terms of KBs, mine are rated at 89 mb's. Would like to email them to someone to see what is wrong with my pics. any other suggestions? (i used to upload photos with a different camera directly to a post, but wanted to move these to my gallery first since that is supposed to allow for more size.) update; just viewed the photo, it is 81.7 KB and 166 x 163. basicbob101 Pillar of the Community United States 819 Posts	Posted 02/19/2009 09:17 am I wrote and got my gallery activated, it is basicbob101, but get a message that my upoads were succesful along with a page giving the title of the pic and places for description, etc with a small box in the upper left with a red x in it. complete the page and click continue it goes to the next pic title, but when finished there is nothhing. thanxz tights, sent you an email with some attachements. I think at the last minute I noticed one is very large, the scratches on the pics are on the plastic window, not on the coin. Hope you get them OK. bob Report this Post to the Staff
