Hi I am really new to collecting and trying to distinguish an error from a normal strike can be difficult. I have a 1993P quarter that I believe could be an error. I can't find another one like it however so I just don't know. Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
......die chip on the arrowheads...after a period of time the die breaks (chips/cracks) at weak points and the die can no longer strike the correct image. The presses keep running until Quality Control comes in.
@John1.. I was referring to the area directly in front of the arrowhead. More specifically to the side of the wing or top of the leaf. It just looked like it could have been an additional feather or perhaps leaf.
