1921-2021 Colored Dime Error - Coin Community Forum

NewCollector11 New Member Canada 29 Posts	Posted 08/13/2022 03:27 am New here wondering if this is an error, I have a bunch of these dimes but one has a bigger gap from the water to boat , coin in question is on the right side , also seems to be a different water pattern ..pictures don't really show that good thoughts? JimmyD Bedrock of the Community Canada 21605 Posts	Posted 08/13/2022 2:36 pm Correct. It is only a mint error if it happens during the actual striking of the coin. The colour is applied at a different stage after the coins were struck. Report this Post to the Staff
