ok how am I doing so far am I geting closer with my 1990 all beat up and zinced out D penny on the reverse of the coin but you will see what I see it is on the bottom left of th building is that doubled please say I'm gettingb closer to finding one so one one so wouldnt6 hac=v to bother you near as muchi know I'm probably getting on your nerves alt when I'm taking your time aw3a from someone els

From point of view of the coin, at this stage of corrode do not matter any more if it is DDR or not. Even if you vacuum the internal reaction will continue. One this processes start nothing could stop. This is process at the molecular level with exchange of ions, Sorry to give you those bad news.

i assumed that its not going to bring a premium but I'm try to see if I'm getting closer on spotting what a doubled die is so did I get this one right is it doubled

What attribution number do you think it might be? I am not seeing a DDR.

The "U" has a bit of Machine Doubling.

You are learning about errors backwards. Instead of looking for error coins, spend some time learning about how coins are made, then when searching mistakes made will pop out. Not every coin is an error coin; error or variety coins are rare.

Pris...look at some sites that show you what years have double dies and where the doubling occurs. You than group your coins by year and go thru them looking for any doubling in the specified areas. This will familiarize yourself with the different doubling. This is more efficient than the way you are doing it.

You can look at Wexler's and Variety Vista.
