ok I have this 1953 D nickel I'm trying here I really am but is that a doubled die and what are them brown streaks they are on the other side but they are not brown they run the same way with each other

on the top of the E and maybe at the bottom of the L same with the 9 maybe at the bottom of it but it looks more like Machine Doubling how did I do

Yeah, sorry, not seeing any doubling here. The black streaks you see could be due to a bad alloy mix

Check out the listings on V.V to see what to look for on the DDO's. Look at the centers of the devices. The DDO-001 is stronger, the DDO-002 is not as strong.
