A few dollars, a little more in BU. 1998 would be around $5 in circ, $10 in BU.

Nice find Braves. Next dig out the 2000 then the fun begins. The 1999 has been avoiding me for yrs. Oh, don't forget to check the 1996 and 1997, too.

For me, I got hooked by looking for RPM Wheaties. Now, I am buying $25 worth of cents at the bank.

Congrats on the find! I found my first WAM this last Sunday. I was thrilled. A beautiful 1998. Its quality is similar to your find.

Yes, they are addictive. I think hunting these rare coins is better than fishing. And the best part is, if you don't find anything, you've lost nothing but your time. And as far as time goes.....I'm enjoying the search. So to me that is essentially free entertainment. I buy a box of pennies, I search them, I return them for more pennies.

I do keep all the copper. So I suppose I am paying for those. But I consider that money in the bank. So again, It isn't costing anything for my time. And compare that to renting a movie......I've got more to show at the end of 90 minutes.

Good find. I wish you the best of luck in finding more.

My banks are pretty good at saving things for me. One bank keeps all the old bills for me and the other is where I get my coins from. They are also keeping a box of the new 2009 cents out for me to pick up. That is the great part about living in a small community (Lancaster, NH). It is also only about 45 minutes away from the Littleton Coin Company (love them or not).

As always, thanks for all the replies and the help.
