while the coins themselves are relatively common its hard to find a better provenance than the Eliasberg collection. for those unfamiliar Louis Elaisberg Sr. is the only person to complete a set of United States coins. he completed the set in 1950 and kept it current until his death in 1976.

Interesting display for, as you mention, a common set. With that pedigree and signed certificate, I'm sure it went for at least a couple orders of magnitude higher price than a typical 1970 proof set.
