Hi All,
I am new to the forum.
I have been collecting coins for most of my life and this is the first place I have reached out to for opinions.
I have been mostly hoarding my collection but I think I am ready to begin making some profit (hopefully)
Good timing really as I have a coin I believe is rarer than the ones mentioned in the title.
I can't find any examples of this anywhere.
Really keen to know if I have something good here.

Hi Mudcrab,

It is kind of a backpack roo. Here's one on ebay with the Cud error in the same spot though not as pronounced as your example so yes, there are examples out there.

I'm not a fan of Cud errors myself but I'm sure others with more experience will lend some advice.

Hi David,
Thank you for the info, it seems my searching wasn't thorough enough!

Hey Muddy,
It's a good looking back-pack all the same.
Some folk here will tell you it's not a Cud unless it involves the rim.
Outside of Australia this type of error is known as a die-chip.... yeah I know, go figure.

Anyway, now you're here, keep posting.

Cheers TT

Mudcrab, can you please clarify if your coin is a regular mob of roos or a changeover coin, thanks.

Yeah I'm not a big fan of Cuds either...
It's not a changeover unfortunately.
I just listed it along with another 2017 on ebay, most likely overpriced #128556; #129310;#129310;
I'll make another post soon as I have a very old coin from Rome I think with Constantine,
I bought it when I was in Barcelona over 15 years ago now and still haven't been able to successfully identify it...
Hopefully someone knows something about it.

Thanks for the warm welcome's!
