Speaking of Zurie's 1943 DDO, just snagged this beaut for the low, low price of only $13.00! I have been looking for this variety for some time now; I have looked at a good number of 1942s, ever hopeful Id get one. Until today The dealer I bought this from is at an antique store which I frequently visit, and he did not even catch this variety as he does not deal in varieties.
I call this somewhere in the mid-AU condition.
I noticed Coinhunter27 post on his 2020 ebay find which was nice, but not many more threads that I could see here on CCF in relation to this variety.
