Oh, I was expecting a coloured $2 coin.

Doesn't seem outrageous (yet) but I've long since limited what needs to be a part of my $2 collection.

I do this for fun only:
I take two of the best available examples of coloured coins and all commemoratives issued since 1966, from circulation only, all at face value.

I collect in this area of numismatics. as a kid would do.
Current collection numbers about 400 pieces.

I regard all modern mint issue products as a poor investment.
But collecting at face value is OK. Loss against inflation rate only.

My first numismatic love is ancient coins, have been doing this for decades.
