Macsrus04 New Member United States 11 Posts	Posted 08/29/2022 10:29 pm Hello from Arkansas! I've been collecting coins since our son was born (1998). We started with proof sets and the State Quarters. However, I really started to pay more attention when my dad brought me his small collection which included some nice pieces from Indian heads to silver dollars and more. But one 1926 Mercury dime caught my eye and ever since I've been hooked. I still call myself a beginner as it's been an off and on hobby. However, I find myself being more on these days and wanting to learn more and that's why you see me here. I've been to this forum many times for guidance in the past and today, I decided to join and hope to grow my love of coin collecting and learn from some great coin collectors. As, I do have a lot to learn. I hope that I have somewhat of an eye for some of the coins; I have kept over the years thinking just maybe it's something. We shall see, but promise -you won't laugh too hard if/and when you see how green, I really am at this. & Excited to meet you all and share my collection. Look at pics people post here, good and bad, it's near impossible to offer opinions with blurry out of focus pics. There is a coin photography forum on CCF to check out if you want.
