jacrispies Pillar of the Community United States 3848 Posts	Posted 09/03/2022 4:06 pm The fine vertical hairlines, the lack of luster, overall surface quality, and color are the hints to an old cleaning. The 1839 reeded edge bust halves seem to come with cleanings a lot of the time, so this coin is not out of the ordinary. Suffering from bust half fever.
