Hello. I need help with grading this coin. I'm thinking around AU-50.

IMO it's already had a bath.

As for its grade, IMO it's more like XF-40.
And DETAILS if it's been cleaned other than an acetone dip.

A bit of Verdi-care might help here. I think it makes AU-50 from a sharpness standpoint. Details? Possibly.

Not much visible wear, love the toning, needs an acetone soak to remove the goo. AU58

To me, appears to have been cleaned a while back. I could see XF45.

AU details, environmental damage. I think the dark spots have eaten into the surface.

It looks like the PVC damage around FIVE has etched into the surface. I would pass if this is not yet yours.

Not hardly worth the hassle to return it based on the purchase price. I would consider it inexpensive tuition towards your numismatic education.
And at this point an acetone dip would not hurt it.

I'm sorry but I have to call this coin as I see it . That's not very good . Besides the verdigris and corrosion on reverse the coin looks like it spent a month in pure bleach . As far as wear goes , it's only very little . AU-58 Details .
