Under the toning it is frosty and undisturbed, not many contact marks. The strike is weak which makes it look worn. It is very easy to think AU58 when you combine weak strike with toning. I feel like this is an MS65.

Sold for $425 !...Really ?....As a long time collector of Morgans & Peace dollars, that's amazing. This 1879 New Orleans does not deserve that kind of respect IMO...ugly oxidized coin. Sucker born every minute....
