Hello and welcome.

Sorry to be so negative on your first post, but the answer is "No". This, unfortunately, is post-mint damage, not an error or variety. The rim appears to have been squashed down and pushed in all the way around. This damage is not entirely unlike what we see when a coin in inserted into a "lucky penny" ring.

Hi and thanks for your reply. Initially I thought the same thing. Only looking at the other side, there's no sign of any damage or wear. If it had been pressed or ground down in some way, I thought there would be some evidence to support that? Also, the lettering on the obverse side appears to be a little bit smaller and more compatible with a 10 cent.
But, I am no expert. Thats why I thought I'd ask.
Again, thanks

Hi General Lee Spe and

with Sap ... keep looking though.
By the way, nicely cropped and clear photos for a first post!
