Hi!
I have tried to identify this coin but no luck.. any help will be greatly appreciated!
Definitely seems to be Byzantine since it appears to be Mary and Baby Jesus

that sure looks like their winged lion on the second pic, and I vaguely recall getting a Venetian coin with a similar design overall.

So, is this coin 18 mm and 1 gram, or 40 mm and 30 grams?

I agree most likely medieval Venice.

Here's the Numista link for the (probable) type: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces67675.html

An interesting coin! Apparently there's a mintmaster signature under the Madonna, but I can't read what it could be on your photos.
