Found this circulated clad 1996 D Quarter in my bank roll of quarters today. This coin is phenomenal and while the obverse is nice the reverse is spectacular! Hopefully the small field hits of the obverse would not spoil a MS for this great looking quarter! Let me know your thoughts and Regards.

Hard to tell from the glare in the photos.

the 96D can be seen with a strike like this. please repost photos without overhead lighting. best way is to use window sill on a cloudy day. if the surfaces are too reflective you may want to tilt it just a hair to eliminate it

Iurned all lights off. Turned on left light (LED lamp) which has a white diffuser. Look on the right side of the pictures you can see a shadow caused by the light! Regards.

glare is still obscuring the fields however it does look like there is wear present. I think the coin would grade AU58

I'm not sure what you were looking for when posting this coin. its a spender. if you want to hold onto it, it will most likely never have any collector value other than to fill a hole as there were over 900MM minted

That is why I send pictures of the coins I like. What I saw in the reverse was great detail in the Eagle feathers and the arrows plus the script. Regards!

Yes the 1996-1998 was one of the most nicer design variety. In 1996 was the last year when they lowered the design and sharpened the details. before the new designs come for series.
