I am in no way suggesting that it is fake, but the production for this work was probably contracted out by the Mint. Lots of very legitimate medals are produced by the pressure diecast method. I have no question whatsoever about the authenticity. I am looking forward to any dissenting comments and happy to agree, if they are better than mine.
