Curious.
The image of medal pictured suggests to me that the medal itself may have been pressure diecast.
I am in no way suggesting that it is fake, but the production for this work was probably contracted out by the Mint.
Lots of very legitimate medals are produced by the pressure diecast method.

I have no question whatsoever about the authenticity.

I am looking forward to any dissenting comments and happy to agree, if they are better than mine.

And you have an insufficient ink error on the price tag label... from the BEP! Packaging I see has changed slightly over time as well.
