I found this one while cherry picking at our local coin shop.
I believe its over-polished with a slight rotation of the die on the reverse?

Nice find , looks to be an example of 1926-d fs-401 Two feathers.

This looks like a 2 and a half feather to me, since I can see a little of the 3rd feather not totally abraded away (east of long feather near where it connects to the head there is a lump). This happens early in the progression to a true 2F. See images in guide to abraded Buffalo nickels. The PGCs are know to slab 2HF as 2F's sometimes, but of course this one isn't one to be sent off based on condition.

Still a nice pick up and definitely one I'd put in a 2X2.
