sheldius Pillar of the Community United States 1204 Posts	Posted 10/01/2022 11:31 am This looks like a 2 and a half feather to me, since I can see a little of the 3rd feather not totally abraded away (east of long feather near where it connects to the head there is a lump). This happens early in the progression to a true 2F. See images in guide to abraded Buffalo nickels. The PGCs are know to slab 2HF as 2F's sometimes, but of course this one isn't one to be sent off based on condition. https://archive.org/details/buffalo...n51/mode/2up Still a nice pick up and definitely one I'd put in a 2X2.
