I've taken an interest in coins and one that peak interest. Curious as to of this is worth sending for grading or a waste or time?

Waste of both time and money. You would be spending $50-60 on a coin worth 5 cents.
Unless a coin is worth at least $150.00, it is not worth grading.

Seems to be in the wrong forum unless you think there's an error or variety. Looks like a normal lightly circulated nickel to me, worth 5 cents. In the future, please rotate your photos before posting.

@van, sorry but I'm not seeing it. This looks like a spender to me.

i'd also like to hear from the OP as to why they would want to slab a coin. not necessarily this one but in general. I'm seeing so many folks new to collecting that are obsessed with slabbing coins and like to know whats causing this.
