My instincts tell me this is likely just a scratch, but it seems to go rim to rim.

I cannot find any information regarding this on the web.

It looks like just a scratch, the contact mark to the right edge indicates the beginning of the impact followed by the cutting thru the surface travelling left showing the exit mark.

Looks like a scratch to me.
A die crack would not be that straight.

Scratch would be incuse. If a die crack it will be raised on the center of the affected area. (Not showing a trench)

Some think this is raised, on the intentional cut, but the metal is moved aside when the coin is cut with a knife. (The metal has to so some where on a post strike damaged coin) A closer view of the affected area might show us more on your coin?
