2013 Lincoln Penny With Unusual Mark Near Date

Hi, Thoughts on what the mark is on the obverse side of this coin down near the date? It doesn't appear to be raised and it isn't a stain, with such straight edges and a square shape.
Expanding the coin in the first picture is probably the best view of it.

Not sure how someone could make a perfect mark that small with a punch. Could something have been on the planchet?

Post mint damage. Somebody used some type of punch to mark the coin after it left the mint.

In order for it to be recessed in the coin, the mark would have to raised on the die and that won't happen during die manufacturing.
