I got this 1976 quarter in change tonight and I need help understanding what I am seeing. I am sorry about the picture quality, it's the best I can do. Reducing them makes my bad pics even worse. There is a circular crack like issue on the throat and also along the obverse right side of the coin seems to be missing some plating? Or it was just badly damaged. Thanks in advance!!

Circulation wear and tear, and a good dose of it.

Not a plated coin,it is a clad coin. Looks like maybe some kind of acidic liquid was on the coin?

Thanks, my mistake. Yes, clad And I wondering about acid too. It's pretty mottled looking. Thank you!
