1983 P Washington Quarter Mint Error - Off Center

Today I drove to a small-town's annual coin show. While buying 330 BU Memorial cent rolls from a guy, I figured he'd be willing to give me a deal on the one error coin he had. Ended up paying $20 for this one, which is probably about right. Note that to the eye it looks further off center than it is as there is a lot of weakness by the date.

It is all part of a light stain that bisects the coin.

Nice. How did the reeding get there at 1K to 4K, wouldn't it have been struck out of collar?

Very nice TB ! As John1 eyeballed , the obverse die had a Collar Clash . What a way show off that kind of Clash!
