I've never seen one with a back like this. It's really pretty.

It is one of the four designs of the 2009 Lincoln Bicentennial cent. Use the US Coin Facts thread on the sidebar to see the other designs. Certainly not rare though as there were over 700 million of each design struck.

Yes, it is pretty nice designs. It is the 200th year anniversary of Lincoln's birth. (100th year of the first Lincoln Cent was minted.)

Yes, it's an interesting example of a common reverse design to celebrate Lincoln's 200th birthday.

Vanillacake: it would be good to collect the three other designs for this date, (2009), to complete a set of four.
It could be the start of building sets of commemoratives in all denominations. The challenge would be to do so in Coin Roll Hunting, or even from pocket change, collecting examples at face value only.
That is what I have done with commemorative coins in the Australian context. Collection numbers about 250 different pieces, and growing.

@ Vanillacake: I agree with you about the design. I think IMHO it is the most beautiful design for the shield cents. I am pleasant to have complete set of the Philla. strike of the the coins of the first 10 coins strikes. I was work with the Mint in time, and win the place for this set signed by the Mint director and Treasury.
Take the offer of Bobby, and HAT DOWN for him been generous like this.
I will put you here the minting numbers for this set of 4 coins: Early Childhood P. : 284.4 mill D. : 350.4 mill Formative Years P. : 376 mil D. : 376 mill Professional P. : 316 mill D. : 336 mill Presidency P. : 129.6 mill D. : 198 mill
