Look up the denomination and date, and see if there's a serial number match. Your note is dated Aug 28th 1862 and appears to be serial number "2". There's no match on Crutch Williams. I see no reason to come to such a hasty conclusion that it's a fake. If it is real, such a low number would probably add to the collectability of this note. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis Report this Post to the Staff
