In the past I have tried to help fellow coin collectors by mailing them coins they needed. However, until today, I have never "traded" coins. As I write this, I have about 60 coins on their way to a couple of our Aussie members -- grendelfreak and triggersmob. Trading coins, for me, adds yet more excitment to coin collecting. Being able to help out a fellow forum member, and then receive "foreign" coins in return is an exciting prospect. I hope this experiment works out well. I will continue to learn when it comes to the mailing of coins. And, I will eagerly check out the mailbox to see what incoming mail brings to my collection.

Gary, I didn't realise this was your first trade. It is my first trade also. I suppose we had to break the ice sooner or later. Thank you. Steve

Don't worry I won't pull one over you, but the mail is unpredictable, Renal and myself mailed each other at the same time yet his coins arrived over a week ago yet mine are still to be delivered.

I have traded all over the world and every trade has been outstanding. When I first started in 2002 I figured I would get burnt every now and then but NOT one time and I now have some of the greatest collecting friends all over the world! The whole process, along with the internet, will never cease to amaze me! Lots of good people left in the world!

Yes I am in the middle of a trade with triggersmob as well and it is my first trade it was fun can't wait to see the coins I ma getting. I am also doing a swap with thecollecterkid for some US for Kuwait coins. I just wish I had more extra coins to trade I am just very limited on the amount of coins I have to trade, I did have to go buy a Silver American Eagle to replace the on I sent to triggersmob. Trading is fun.

I would never be concerned about doing trades with anyone on this forum.
The mail is a funny thing. I have had first class mail take days to be delivered, and also have received mail almost overnight. So, you just never know.
The coins I sent to Australia are supposed to arrive in about a week. So, we'll see.

Terry says, "I now have some of the greatest collecting friends all over the world!"
He is correct, and I can add to that.
Recently I received e-mails from both ageka and Ętheling, from Belgium and England, providing me with information (non-coin related) which I needed.
I am most appreciative.
One more benefit this forum provides!

An up-date.
Just heard from grendelfreak, and he said the coins I sent arrived today (Match 24). They were mailed on Match 15, so seems as though that was pretty good mail service.
Now, I hope triggersmob gets his coins soon.

Thanks for the up-date Steve.
Your package, and grendelfreak's were mailed at the same time, so should have arrived in Australia at the same time.
Hope you get it soon.
Have a great day!

It would be nice to have a fourm for trading? I live in AZ and I need a lot of the quarters from the P mint. All I ever get are the D mints.
