I was told MS63- MS64 I would like MS65 but It' a big jump from 64, A STAR grade would be sweet!. Feel free to help me grade her. MS65obv MS63.5rev somewhere between DMPL and PL only on obv. PL on rev. I think in the end you'll get a solid MS64 Proof Like out of it. LATE EDIT: Good night it's time to look at my eyelids. Star coins are worth more points in NGC's registry and tend to sell for more money than a similarly graded coin without the designation. Indian1 Pillar of the Community United States 3640 Posts	Posted 02/27/2009 4:21 pm Hi Nice coin by the way. What's with this star stuff. Have all the grading co's changed their criteria again ? Eye appeal is already one of the factors used in determining the overall grade of any coin. At least it used to be. I keep seeing and hearing all kinds of weird things about the way coins are graded lately. I.E.: Obv. is a 63, rev. is a 64 so ? If any coin has say, an MS 69 obv. and it happens to have a MS 63 rev. then the coin is graded MS63 period. Are they now splitting grades based on ea. side of the coin ? I may have to post this as well as more at one of the grading forums. Report this Post to the Staff
