I am almost certain I picked up a scarce "Roman Bronze'' on ebay on the cheap. Even though the legend is not fully legible, I believe any Postumus with the officina letter of "P" in exergue meant that it was issued by Aureolus in Milan. However, the portrait style screams the doomed usurper. The story goes that when trying to usurp the Roman emperor Gallienus, Aureolus fortified himself in Mediolanum (Milan) and tried to win over support from the Gallic Emperor Postumus by minting coins in his name. It didn't work, he was defeated in battle and retreated back into Milan from which he was ultimately killed by Claudius II Gothicus' troops.

Aureolus, billon antoninianus, AD 267-268. Struck in the name of Postumus. IMP POSTVMVS AVG, radiate, draped bust right / FIDES EQVIT, Fides seated left, holding patera and standard. Officina letter P below.

Aside from a fully legible legend, it's a very high grade coin with excellent details.

Definitely Milan and Aureolus. The officina letter and FIDES EQVIT motif (both used only by Milan), the style of the portrait, the too small flan is typical for these issues. But very nicely preserved. Congrats!

erafjel thanks for that bit of info, I didn't know that. I thought that parts of the flan might have been broken off during the ages, but now it makes sense that it came from the mint in this condition.

Thanks again.
