I am pretty sure this is PMD but before I toss it, I wanted to put it here just in case.

This "crease" happened after the coin was struck by the dies, which would make it PSD.

100% damage.
This could not happen during the striking of the coin.

Well it turns out this is infact a true minting error. It was pinched as it exited the die and anvil. I have had several coin collectors and coin shops confirm it, offer me cash and even told me to list it on ebay and see how fast bids climb on it. 26 bids in a few hours up to 27.50 with several watchers. It is going to NGC to get an error designation and grade. I'll post the pictures and info when I get it back.

NOTE: I did take the listing off ebay after a short bidding war occurred.

I do not say could not be error. The story

do NOT stand for me as I know those new bi-balls presses by heart. To explain: those presses has the collars on band. If the collar is not in place, then the press piston do not action. So could not happened their. On old presses yes but not those new.

Been struck maybe the only place where could happened it is counting machine which it is right after the press and before the coin fall in the inspection tray and then will fall according by the inspector in recycle bin or minting pre bags bin.

Maybe Mike can clear this. The two different metallic grains of the O and R which are not same and it is other question for me?. Struck trough?!! and the collar open?!!
