OK - looks like a heavily circulated coin that suffered damage to its rims before finding its way in to an acid bath. Damaged and no grade attributed.

Not familiar with these, but assume that textured surface is not normal.

There's a small corner of my collection that I affectionately call 'odd-balls'. Things with no particular value above melt but that I just like for some reason I can't necessarily explain. That 1c, which is seriously damaged but nevertheless preserves all the detail of the original coin, would be in reasonable company in that box!

I'm not familiar with these but those textured surfaces are not the way the coin left it's mint.
