Can somebody explain how to determine if a date is considered small? Is the small date closer to the time?

Enter "Large and Small Date 1982 Cent" in the Search box above to read dozens of past explanatory threads on this subject, including pics.

Will all the above, one can also do a google image search for ' Lincoln Cent 1982 small large date' -- many good comparison photos will appear.
