retiredkper Pillar of the Community United States 541 Posts	Posted 10/30/2022 9:09 pm Here is a 2009 dated medal by the Milwaukee Numismatic Society on their 75th anniversary and also harking back to the 2007 ANA convention in Milwaukee which the MNS hosted. The interesting thing about this medal is that only about 100 pieces were struck on Morgan silver dollars, traces of which can still be seen. The medal illustrated here was an 1899 dated coin. I dont remember what the silver dollar was dated. I remember that you could see almost all the details of the morgan under the overstrike. neat piece. Report this Post to the Staff
