In case any of you darksiders have missed it. There are preliminary plans afoot to try to put together a World Coin Database that can be used as World Coin Collection Software.

Software to be used to record your individual collections, including photos personal notes, grades etc. But that would have all of the basic information on each coin already included, to save time when entering your collection. Information such as weight, composition, mintages and so on.

It is hoped that the finished product will be offered to CCF members free of charge. It will be created using Open Office Database which is also available to anybody as a free program.

It will only be possible to complete this mammoth task with the help of volunteers to do sections of the data entry involved, that will be pre-built into the program.

If you are interested in being involved please look for the thread in the software forum click on the link in my signature and register an interest.

While everyone is welcome we would be quite interested to hear from members from as many countries as possible, who would be interested in entering the information for their own country's coins.

Thank You

Sorry, that seems to have confused a few people who didn't know we had one. I have changed my Signature to include a link. Just click on that.

Thanks GO
