1899-FS-301-In-NGC-Slab.

I'm extreme newby. I didn't know what FS was until NGC graded this coin with my request for a variety. FS 301

I'd love any information on that designation. Haven't yet received my CherryPickers Guide, but did read that the issue is the date.

Also trying to learn the whole upload photo thingy, if needed, I will post Reverse view.

please state the mint and the denomination of your coin as well, thank you.
The FS-301 designation appears to be a repunched date, dates on coins back in 1899 are still hand stamped onto the dies.
