I think the POMs are having serious tilt at beating that record!
I would say they are on track. Rishi must be feeling the pinch.

11/6/2022 I wrote that.
3 coin set and single coins being released but not $2 ... $1 instead.

I am tipping that these coins will be RED HOT
I certainly would like them all.
Good luck getting a set I reckon.
Prices will skyrocket as usual on ebay before release day.

Getting kids into coin collecting would be a good thing. Hopefully the kids will be able to work out the value in what is being offered. It looks like the RAM are pumping out more junk coins (tokens) than genuine circulating coins. If the poor kids get hooked now and keep buying the junk (cartoon character-based or business-related) 'tokens', where will it stop and how much will it cost them to maintain a worthwhile collection? Australia Post shot themselves in the foot by mass producing stamps just to take advantage of collectors and now it looks like RAM are trying the same tactic. Good luck to them but I think newcomers need to be aware of what happens when we go cashless - are the new 'junk' coins really coins or just tokens then?

Yes,when I was at School in the 1960's(sigh!) we had a Coin/Stamp Dealer for a period a week in Social Studies, usually the most interesting period of the week ,at least for me.

Local Dealer approached the local School up here on the North Coast of NSW to run a class(no cost to the School) and the Principal wasn't interested, when he was moved on he tried the new Principal with the same result so he gave up.

Times have sure changed.
