Found this with my grandmother's change. I don't know if it is a die gouge, die crack, or something else. It looks like it is a little wide for a die crack but I'm not sure. Any help for the identification of this error will help. Thank You

It looks like trapped gas to me,very common on Zincolns.

I would say gas bubble also.

Yup, that's exactly what it is.

If this were a die gouge, you wouldn't see the design in the middle of the gouge.

I didn't know gas bubbles could be in this shape. I always thought that they were round. Thanks for the information.

If you think about what a bubble looks like you would be correct. However these usually follow the grain on the planchet. Notice it on the op's coin.
