Always a fun find. Some wheat cents have been in near-constant circulation. Some appear when a hoarder/collector dumps their less-than-pristine stuff. Over the years I've placed many <G08 common wheat cents into cent rolls I've taken to the bank. All good.

When searching bags as a kid, we usually didn't save P-mints except for 1909, 1931, 1932, 1933 and of course 1922. The rest had no value except in very high grades, That's how old I am!

Never found one, but '22-Ds were around, and when you found a worn "weak D" your heart would jump!
