What variety do you think your coin is? Also, you have to request and pay extra for a variety designation.

I think we will need better up-close photos to really help you,but with all of the expense involved in sending it in would outweigh the retail value of the coin.

to the CCF.

Appears this has been a very expensive adventure for you so far. I'm not convinced the coin is worth what you have already paid.

And you are considering doing it again with PCGS. What do you think you have to gain?

Your coin doesn't appear to be the famous Doubled Die from 1958.

Here's the 1958 DDO detail shot from PCGS Coinfacts. It's a really strong Doubled Die that can be seen without magnification. Only 3 of this variety are known to exist.

Did you request the DDO attribution and pay extra when you had the coin graded?

ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

Sorry for all you spent so far. I agree about the value of your coin won't be enough to cover your investment.

Maybe if you find another coin that might be something interesting. Maybe post clear full obverse, reverse, and closeups of what you see here with questions and get peoples opinions of what they think.

I'd cut your loses now and not send it in a second time. I too don't see it as a DDO.
